Brian Osborne serves as Partner at Front Porch Strategies, an international voter contact and constituent communications firm based out of Columbus, Ohio.
Osborne began his career in politics as a volunteer and College Republican at The Ohio State University during the 2004 presidential election.
In 2008, Osborne was successful on two campaigns. He served as the political director for Karen Gillmor’s state senate campaign where he was responsible for building and managing all of the district-wide grassroots efforts. Gillmor’s campaign for Ohio’s 26th Senate District was extremely successful, winning all 8 counties with a margin of victory totaling 63% to 37%.
Osborne also managed a levy campaign for his old high school in 2008. Colonel Crawford Local School districts have always experienced difficulty passing levies on the ballot. However, in 2008, Osborne helped organize and advise the committee on fundraising, messaging, grassroots and paid media efforts, guiding them to an astonishing victory with over 68% of the vote.
Most recently, Osborne worked as the marketing manager at E-Crane International, USA. E-Crane is a bulk material handler that that moves dry material including coal, fertilizer, limestone, and grain. E-Crane is a successful small business, but was losing its marketing direction and Osborne provided a focused marketing plan that has created increased efficiency in E-Crane’s sales process.
Previously, in 2007, Osborne had the honor of serving the late Congressman Paul Gillmor in his Washington D.C. office and his district office as an intern. In 2006, Osborne held the position of Central Ohio Field Director for Ken Blackwell’s gubernatorial campaign.
Osborne has a B.A. in Communications from The Ohio State University, lives in Columbus, Ohio and fills his spare time with more politics, bowling, and golf.
