Stephanie is an Associate at Front Porch Strategies, an international voter contact and constituent communications firm based in Columbus, Ohio.
Upon graduation from college, Stephanie began working for State Senator James E. Carnes (Retired, R-St. Clairsville) in 2001. She served as Secretary of the Senate Finance and Financial Institutions Committee, as well as the Senate Reference Committee. In early 2004, Stephanie returned to Zanesville, Ohio to work for the Muskingum County Commissioners where she served as the Community Development Block Grant Coordinator, Project Coordinator and Deputy Clerk to the Board.
Stephanie was selected to be a part of the 2006 Jo Ann Davidson Leadership Institute, a training institute for Republican women in Ohio. She is one of five women from Muskingum County to graduate from the program.
Later that year, she was appointed as the Muskingum County Chair for Ken Blackwell’s gubernatorial campaign. In the 2008 election cycle she managed the successful re-election campaign of Muskingum County Commissioner, Brian D. Hill. She currently serves as the campaign manager for Jim Porter, candidate for Muskingum County Commissioner.
Stephanie is the Vice Chair of the Muskingum County Young Republican Club, Secretary of the Muskingum County Republican Policy Committee, and on the Board of Directors of the Animal Shelter Society, Inc.
Stephanie holds a B.A. in Political Science from Ohio University. She resides with her husband Darin and their dog, Bella, in Zanesville, Ohio. They are members of the Westwood Baptist Church and together operate Hillsway Ag & Turf LLC in Gratiot, Ohio. Stephanie enjoys golfing, shopping, and cheering on her favorite teams – the Cincinnati Reds, The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Dallas Cowboys and her nephews’ teams – the Crestview Rebels and the University of Charleston Golden Eagles.
